My Story
From Refugee Struggles to Resilience
My journey began when I arrived in Australia as a refugee, fleeing Vietnam by boat in search of a better future. Everything was unfamiliar – the language, culture, and especially the financial system. Those early experiences shaped my resilience, empathy, and deep appreciation for stability and security.
Living through uncertainty also taught me the importance of inner calm. Over time, practices such as meditation became a quiet source of grounding and reflection, helping me navigate change with clarity and perspective.
Building Security and Buying My First Home
Studying business and spending years working in banking gave me the knowledge and confidence I had been searching for. It enabled me to achieve a dream I once thought was out of reach – buying my first home.
Along the way, I learned the power of building a six-month financial buffer, something that brought real peace of mind after a childhood marked by uncertainty. Today, I guide others with the same clarity and care, ensuring they understand every decision – not just sign the papers.
20+ Years in Banking & My Mission as a Mortgage Broker
With over 20 years of experience across major banks and lenders, I’ve seen firsthand that no two financial journeys are the same. Every client brings a unique story, goals, and life circumstances, and they deserve advice that is thoughtful, personalised, and genuinely supportive.
My mission is to help people access the guidance they need to move forward with confidence and clarity. I believe a truly fulfilling life is built on more than money alone; it’s strengthened by all five forms of wealth that shape who we are and who we’re becoming. Buying a home is no different. Your financial, physical, mental, social, and knowledge wealth all influence your stability, confidence, and readiness for one of life’s most important milestones.
